We support our founders with a depth of technical and practical expertise. Our partners have played a significant role in established projects with global reach—Google X, Yahoo Search, Microsoft Outlook, BASF, SRI International, Baird Capital Partners, and FINCA Impact Finance in Africa.
Our investment team has backgrounds in physical sciences, engineering, manufacturing and finance and is not only well positioned to evaluate physical/hardware businesses but also to have a detailed and disciplined understanding of what it takes to commercialize that technology and successfully displace existing industries.
We also have full-time experts to help our founders in these areas: Talent, Operations, Marketing, IP/Patent Strategy, and Manufacturing.
